Interreligious Community Peace Pole Dedication

Perhaps you've seen a Peace Pole planted in a garden at a church, university, or other community location.  The Peace Pole Project is sponsored by the Interfaith Peace Project and the United Nations and they represent a community's commitment to bringing about peace.

Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers and the neighboring Buddhist Temple (Compassion Meditation Center) have been given matching Peace Poles.

Please join us in the blessing of the Peace Pole at the Buddhist Temple on Sunday, Jan. 19th at 11am located at 17327 Meekland Ave., Hayward (next to Colonial Acres School).  A group will walk over together from Maryknoll at 10:45am so feel free to meet us at either location.  Maryknoll's address is below.
