Pope Francis challenges missionary disciples with the imagery of the Church being more like a field hospital than a country club. At a recent Missionary Disciples Formation Program the participants discussed what that would like today. In other words, where do we need to be to encounter people where they are already. This reminded me of growing up with my parent's bar and an article that was written about that in the Maryknoll Magazine that I'd want to share with you here:
